The new site is posted and ready to go! Everyone, please go to http://www.fan-fics-r-us.com/NewSystem/Index.php and become a member of the new site. Those that are authors I will change your status and then you can start uploading your stories!

I Apologize to everyone for the long hiatus of no updates... the site is not dead, far from it! We are on the verge of an exciting new design. I have contacted a company to redesign my site so that you, the authors, can upload your stories when you want to up load them. Not when I have time. This means that updates will be faster and more regular and it will free me up from having to re-code and setup everything myself. TechGuru's is handling this for me and so far it is looking good. When completed here are just a few of the highlights.

2. Every story will have a reviews section so that the readers can leave a review for the author

3. All authors will have a gallery page, so not only can you upload the story, but pictures as well. ((The Gallery is not working yet so that has been left out of this version, but it is still being worked on and will be added soon.))

4. All stories will have a rating on them so that the readers can after reading they can rate a story and the top rates stories will appear on the main page.

5. Each author will have a favorites listing and can put any story they want to on their favorites list.

6. Host gator allows for adult content so lemon/lime stories will be accepted, but the rating on them (i.e. g, pg, pg13, nc17, r, x) will cause a message to appear to make sure that the reader is old enough to read it. (hay i have to do something to cover my butt).

7. With the site being built entirely out of PHP it will make it easier and faster to update.

9. (in progress) I am having them disable the right click on the images to make it harder for a pic to be leeched off the site.

10. With the new site design comes some pretty new features, I will actually have a graphic for the title!

Recently Fan-Fics-R-Us.com has been hosted by Yahoo/Geocities but in short order we outgrew them. Fan-Fics-R-Us is now hosted by HostGator and we have 1 GIG of space available now! So please keep sending me stories to be posted, and any pics/screen caps/ fan art you want to accompany the story.

We are designing the site to include many things that I hope you will enjoy, mostly we seem to have Tenchi Muyo and Neon Genesis Evangelion stories. Not that I am complaining I love them. Currently we are taking fan fiction submissions for Tenchi Muyo, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, Martian Successor Nadesico, Outlaw Star, Oh My Goddess, Final Fantasy and other Anime's and various game Fics.

Choose an Author on the left and enjoy their stories. There will be a Favorites option added later that will house my favorite stories from other authors and where to find them. I will also include a favorites list from the other authors as well as a links page that has other sites that hold fan fiction and other stories.

It has come to my attention that a recent Ranma 1/2 fan fic archive has closed down and many of the authors there are looking for new homes to their stories. I am looking for more authors to host their stories so I think we can help each other out. If wanted I can create a special section of the Fan-fics-r-us site dedicated entirely to Ranma 1/2 and post all the stories there. Sorry for the long hiatus here, but rest assured that Fan-fics-r-us has not died nor is it even close. Actually we are on the brink of a new system. I have told many before about how soon there will be a review system. Well, the company I am working with to develop this is doing one better! They are doing a complete site overhaul! Soon all authors will be able to post their own stories at their own leisure! That's right, no waiting on me to update the site when i have time. Now everyone will be able to update their own stories! However since this is a major undertaking it has taken them a little bit longer than usual but it is nearing completion. I have been told that by the end of January to the beginning of February the new site will be uploaded and ready to go... well as long as there are no snags.

For all my current authors I will send each of you an email with your logins and a temporary password. Once you login change that password and then start posting. For all new authors I am asking them to send me their info, and the 1st chapter of their story. If I approve the story then I will create the login and temporary password for you to start posting things as well.

For the stories with pictures, I will not be cutting out the pics, instead a gallery page will be created to allow the pics to remain and to let you post what ever pics you want.

A rating system will be setup as well, so that g rated stories will be accessible to all and nc-17 or lemons will be restricted.

Again I apologize for the long delay in things, but the site is ever moving forward, even if it doesn't look like it.
